Shell Heat Transfer Oil S2 (formerly known as 'Shell Thermia B') is a mineral oil heat transfer fluid for indirect closed heat transfer systems operating at bulk temperatures up to 300°C.

Shell Heat Transfer Oil S2 has a relatively low viscosity, excellent resistance to oxidation and good temperature/viscosity characteristics which ensure high heat transfer coefficients, consistent properties over a wide temperature range and long service life.
