Description Instructions Sizes, Prices & Offers Safety Data Sheet Moly Assembly Grease is a very high content Molybdenum Disulphide paste designed to protect moving metal parts during start up and running-in. A thin coating provides extreme pressure protection to reduce scoring, welding, fretting and galling, thus extending component life. Also eases press fitting, and provides anti-seize protection on mated components to prevent corrosion and reduce dismantling torque. Applications Running-in lubricant for new machines, gear-boxes, linkages and slides. Pre-treatment of plain bearings, pins, bushes etc subject to extreme loads. Assembly of close fitting components or interference fits in production of all types of machine elements. Suitable for use on metal fittings, components, valves, flanges, threaded fasteners and slow moving parts. Benefits Reduces wear and extends life of moving gears, linkages or sliding parts, particularly during running-in. Provides protection against scuffing during the assembly of interference fits. Prevents seizure of threaded components enabling easy and quick dismantling. Dismantled threaded components can be re-used. Operating temperature range: -20°C to 450°C.
